手握多封美本录取，只能选一所，怎么拒绝其他学校才得体？

每年3-4月，是美本申请er最幸福的季节——也是“最难熬”的季节。

幸福的是：打开邮箱，满屏的Congratulations！

难熬的是：这么多录取，我只能选一个，剩下那些……怎么开口说“不去”？

今天就来聊聊这个“甜蜜的烦恼”——如何得体地拒绝已经录取你的大学。

01都决定不去了，还需要回复吗？

很多同学和家长的第一反应是：不去就不去呗，反正也没交定金，学校自然知道我不来了。千万不要这样想！

在美国大学文化里，正式回复是一种基本的职业素养和社交礼仪。

更重要的是，你的这一封邮件，可能改变另一个人的命运——你放弃的名额，会顺延给候补名单上的学生。早点告知，别人就能早点上岸。

02写婉拒信，其实是在写什么？

你可能会想：不就是一封“我不去了”的邮件嘛，至于那么讲究吗？至于。

因为这封邮件，是你留给这所学校的最后一张名片。招生官会记住你吗？不一定。但他们留下的印象是：这个学生很成熟、很有礼貌。

未来的某**，如果你想申请这所学校的研究生、法学院或商学院，今天的这一封邮件，可能成为一张隐形的“好人卡”。

03 一封得体的婉拒信，长什么样？

其实很简单，记住这5个要素就够了：

-01-感谢● 谢谢学校录取我Thank you for offering me admission...

-02-明确决定● 礼貌地说“我不去了”I have decided not to accept this offer

-03-去向（可说可不说）● 可以说去了哪所I have chosen to attend XX University

-04-理由（可选）● 简单说明，别写太长which better aligns with  my academic goals

-05-祝福● 祝学校越来越好I wish XXX continued success

不需要长篇大论，也不需要编故事。真诚、简洁、礼貌，就够了。

04 三个模板，直接拿去改

模板一：简洁版（适合大多数情况）

模板二：详细版（想多表达一些感谢时用）

模板三：说明去向版（最诚恳）

05 这些小坑，别踩

不要拖到最后一刻

一旦决定，尽早告知。一般建议在收到offer后10天内回复。

不要批评学校

永远不要说“我觉得你们学校不如xx好”。保持正面、礼貌。

不要用随意的语气

避免“I can’t make it, sorry!”——这是正式邮件，不是发短信。

不要忘记写名字和ID

招生办每天处理大量邮件，务必写明身份，方便对方识别。

不用编造复杂理由

“better fit”、“personal reasons”就够了，不必过度解释。

写在最后...
