哥大的3+2项目对于想要进入哥大学习同时获得双学位的学生来说提供了很好的机会，不管你现在是在哥大的哥伦比亚学院想要进入工程学院学习，还是在哥大的合作院校里想要进入哥大的工程学院学习，亦或者不是上述其中的任何一种情况，也可以尝试通过这个项目实现自己的目标。

什么是3+2项目？

The 3-2 Combined Plan Program offers undergraduate students from Columbia College an opportunity to earn both a bachelor of arts degree from Columbia College (CC) and a bachelor of science degree from Columbia Engineering (SEAS) in five years. This program is also available to students from affiliate schools.

3+2项目让你在5年内可以同时获得本校的一个文学士学位和哥大工学院的理学士学位。哥大合作的院校中文理学院占比比较大，包括比较知名的Bard College，Colby College,Hamilton College，Barnard College，Bowdoin College，Middlebury College，Occidental College，Pitzer College等，也有一些常见的综合性大学，包括Brandeis University，Georgetown University, Fordham University等。

如果你是来自哥大的合作院校，那么你的申请会被放在前面优先审核。如果你不在哥大合作的院校当中就读，依然允许提交申请，但是可能审核会更加严格。

课程以及成绩要求

来自合作院校的学生，如果想要申请，GPA需要达到3.5及以上。除了要满足所在学院的专业要求，还需要完成工程专业的前置课程要求：

The following courses must be taken prior to enrollment in the 3-2 Program (please consult the Pre-Combined Plan Curriculum Guide for additional courses required for each SEAS major):

●  Complete the full Calculus sequence through Calculus IV (MATH V1202)

●  Complete Ordinary Differential Equations (MATH E1210) or Introduction to Applied Mathematics (APMA E2101). Please see individual majors for math requirements.

●  Complete two semesters of Physics (PHYS C1401 and C1402)

●  Complete General Chemistry I (CHEM C1403)

●  Complete a Chemistry or Physics Lab. This choice may depend on the student’s intended Engineering major

●  Complete one semester of Computer Science and Programming in C, JAVA, or MATLAB (COMS W1003, W1004, or W1005). Please note that some majors require specific programming languages.

●  Complete Principles of Economics (ECON W1105)

●  Complete University Writing (ENGL C1010)

●  Earn at least 27 nontechnical credits (including Economics and Writing)

何时申请？

Students apply for the 3-2 Program during their junior year. Applications become available online in December. Please note that admission is offered for the fall semester only. The preferred deadline to submit the application is in mid-February.

感兴趣的学生要在大三才能申请（高中生是不允许申请的），也就是你要在就读的院校读满三年，然后在哥大的工学院读两年。一般是在当年的12月份开放申请（只提供秋季的录取），在第二年的2月中旬截止申请。进入工学院的第一年是保证住宿的，但是第二年就要视情况而定看能否提供宿舍了。

包含个人信息，工程学院前置课程说明以及文书

● 提交大学成绩单

● 推荐信：

一封来自负责大学课程的老师的推荐信

一封来自科学老师的推荐信

一封来自数学老师的推荐信

如果对这个项目很感兴趣，需要在入读大学后，及时与大学的指导老师沟通，从大一开始就要对自己的课程做好规划，不管是专业课程要求还是工程专业的前置课程要求，都要在3年内完成。
